A goal in the final minute of stoppage time gave Thailand a dramatic 2-1 win over Cambodia in their AFC Under-23 qualifier on Friday (27th March).

Laos and Singapore played out a 0-0 draw in their AFC Under-23 Championship qualifier in Vientiane on Friday (27th March).

China faced Mongolia in Group J of the opening round of 2016 AFC Under-23 Championship qualifiers.

The game proved a cruise for the Chinese, Chen Hao with the pick of the goals making it 4-0.

They eventually ran out 5-0 winners against their neighbours.

In Group G, North Korea hosted the Phillipines.

And this was again an uneven contest.

Ri Hyong Jin with the opener as the Koreans finished 4-0 winners.

The other group G game saw Thailand face rivals Cambodia.

It was Cambodia who took a 12th minute lead through Prak Mony Udom.

Thailand levelled in the 57th minute through Chanthip Songkrasin's finish and then in stoppage time won the game.

The winners of the 10 groups and the 5 best second-ranked teams qualify for the finals in Qatar.

And elsewhere Laos and Singapore opened up against one another.

In the 32nd minute, Singapore looked to have the opener through Irfan Fandi.

Yet the referee felt the striker had fouled Laos' goalkeeper.

Laos themselves had a great chance in the second half, when Khonesavanh Sihavong's effort was pushed onto the bar.

The game ending 0-0.
