SOUNDBITE (English) Michael O'Neill, Northern Ireland manager:
    Q. Should Northern Ireland and Scotland both qualify now after a good start to the campaign?

"Well I'm not saying we should - we could, and we hope to. You know, I don't think either of us (O'Neill or Scotland manager Gordon Strachan) would say that we should be qualifying. At the end of the day, the countries in our groups, for example, Hungary and Romania, Greece, they'll feel exactly the same way, that they should be qualifying. We have a very limited pool of players, we have a number of players still playing their club football at possibly a lower level than what you would like to support international football. But we're both in a good position and I think it's a work in progress. I think Gordon would say the same and, you know, if we do get there it would be nice to see Scotland there as well.

SOUNDBITE (English) Michael O'Neill, Northern Ireland manager:

"As I said, a good performance is the priority. You know, hopefully some of the players that we possibly introduced into the side will give me something to think about with regards to Sunday, but also the remainder of the campaign, and I think with games like this... You know, we went to South America, for example, in the summer and played Uruguay and Chile and off the back of that we found Conor McLaughlin, for example, who has established himself at right-back. We found Luke McCullough, who has come in and been part of our squad and, you know, this is an opportunity for potentially some other players that have not really, you know, come to the forefront at international level, certainly at senior international level, to stake their claim and start their international career on the front foot, and hopefully, as I say, we get that with a good team performance."
