SOUNDBITE: (English) Gianni Infantino, UEFA General Secretary (on the 2022 World Cup being played in November and December):
"It is of course not an ideal situation to play in November and December. We would have preferred to play in January because it would have had less of an impact but it's still seven years ahead - everyone can plan their competitions around it. UEFA will do that certainly.
"We think it's absolutely normal that FIFA is also letting the clubs benefit from the revenues they make from the World Cup. I don't think the amount now is too high. Maybe it's the right one, maybe the previous one was too low.
"Mr Blatter already made it clear that he is not campaigning, because he doesn't need to. He will speak at the beginning of the Congress as the FIFA President, and that's how it is. Sky and BBC have proposed the TV debate and it certainly would have been a good thing. From what I've read three candidates were in favour and the fourth one was against so it will not take place. Everyone can make their own judgement about it."
