"There was less room between the lines. Borussia Monchengladbach let the ball run. That makes it difficult to hit good crosses after defending. What we needed to do was engineer one-v-one situations but without Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery that was tricky. We played well during the first 25 or 30 minutes, we controlled the game and we had two chances to score. After we conceded the first goal it wasn't easy. Then we attacked, tried different systems and switched positions to get more crosses into the box while being wary of a counter-attack.
