SOUNDBITE: (English) Brett Gosper, World Rugby chief executive (on the final six months ahead of the World Cup):

"It's the last six months so we're down to detailed, military planning of the logistics. We're in the small picture, rather than the big picture. We can't lose sight of the big picture and we want to put on a record-breaking tournament, but it really is about those meticulous pieces of organisation around the arrival of the teams in stadiums, the arrival of fans, fan zones, the training camps et cetera. So, it's meticulous planning now but we're on track to deliver a record breaking World Cup."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Brett Gosper, World Rugby chief executive (what do you make of this years Six Nations?):

"I think what's great is that it is a Six Nations that goes down to the wire. It creates great momentum for the Rugby World Cup. I think that tournaments like the Six Nations and the Rugby World Cup feed off each other so the stage is set brilliantly for the final weekend."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Brett Gosper, World Rugby chief executive (on taking rugby to new markets):

"What's important is to try to ensure that some big games are played around the world. I know we saw the All Blacks v USA game in November with sixty thousand people there. I know that there are plans to create further games in the USA as well. There is a market there, it's the fastest-growing team sport in the USA and a growing market with it being sevens and fifteens. We like to see the big games go round the world. We ensure that the tier two (nations) play against the tier ones. It's all about promoting the game and the big event in different markets around the world."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Brett Gosper, World Rugby chief executive (on concussion in the sport):

"Concussion is on the rise mainly because people are understanding the dangers of concussion. There has been a huge amount that we have done and everyone has done on educating the public as to the dangers of concussion. So the statistics on concussion will go up for that reason. What we're seeing in the statistics that we have is that other collision related injuries are not on the rise so we believe that most of that increase is due to the change in culture and the awareness and we're very happy about that."
