Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini insists he is not under pressure despite some reports that the club are considering his future.

"I never have any pressure to win the amount of titles and to win a title every year if I want to continue here. I don't feel any pressure especially about the media. The only pressure is when I don't see my team playing the way I like to do it - the only pressure for me. All the other things for me, I don't have - I repeat, never when I sign a contract, never told me that I must win a title every year, that I must win five titles in five years.
The sentence of Ferran (Soriano, Manchester City chief executive) that perfectly normally that you can win maybe two in one year, that you can win one, the other two, you never know what can happen in football. Just one team wins, not all the others are failures. I think there are different ways to analyse the season. The title is important but it's not the only important thing.

"I always live in the present. You never know what happens in the future. You don't know if we are going to win against Barcelona, going to be out of the Champions (League). Maybe last year, nobody said that we were going to win the Premier (league). I think to think about the future is the worst thing because you are just speculating about a lot of things. It's important to live in the present. I live in the present and in that sense I have 25 years always managing important clubs and I never feel the pressure."
