SOUNDBITE: (English) Sam Allardyce, West Ham manager:

"It's our main problem why we lost, not down to the referee, it's real frustration for us based on the expectations on the performances we have been giving, and I really didn't see this coming today. But we have to accept that we didn't play our best. We let ourselves down a bit today, and we have to get back to our top form over the next two games coming up, when we faced this period Manchester United, Southampton, Tottenham, Crystal Palace, Chelsea, Arsenal, if we had lost today we should have sat with seven points from those games, but instead we have three, and that makes a whole lot of difference at this level."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Sam Allardyce, West Ham manager:

"Perhaps some of the players are feeling the pace of the Premier League for the first time. Not playing as well as they were before. It happens. To get used to the Premier League, but we have to make sure we get back together, and Wednesday night now is a performance that we need, our very best performance, but we would play our very best against Chelsea and still not win, that can still beat you."
