Bad weather couldn't dampen the spirits of Super Bowl XLIX (49) Champions, the New England Patriots.
They touched down in a snowy conditions at the Logan International Airport the day after sealing a 28-24 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
It marked the Patriots fourth championship, all within the Tom Brady-Bill Belichick era.
The official Super Bowl celebration for New Englanders and their beloved Patriots will have to wait another day as Boston continued to get battered by heavy snow. Mayor Marty Walsh said the city will postpone a planned victory parade through downtown until the 4th of February.
That didn't stop fans waiting in chilly temperatures outside Gillette Stadium however, they waited for hours just to catch a glimpse of their beloved team.
Coach Bill Belichick and several players greeted fans braving the cold as they arrived at the stadium.
Despite failing to repeat last year's heroic Super Bowl win, the Seahawks returned to Seattle's Sea-Tac Airport to cheers from their loyal fans.
The lack of snow here would have been no consolation for the defeat, but the players received an incredibly warm reaction from their proud supporters
