SOUNDBITE (English) Pete Carroll, Seattle Seahawks coach:

    (on Super Bowl preparations)

"I would hope and I do feel comfortable in this situation. And I would hope our players would feel comfortable in this situation as well, because for the same reason, because we've practiced, we've repped it out, we know what to expect, we kind of can anticipate what it's going to be like so that we can feel comfortable in that situation - and not comfortable, not caring - it's comfortable and secure and trusting that the preparation will allow you to do well. And in that regard I hope we all fit together in that. And if you see our team and they look comfortable, they are to a certain extent. They are thrilled to be in this situation. They can't wait to go play the football game. They can't wait to go play the way we like to play. We don't have any idea about how the result is going to come out. This is a great football team we're playing and we don't know who's going to win or lose. But we know how we want to play. And we are also practicing, daily, how we want to take this on."

SOUNDBITE (English) Pete Carroll, Seattle Seahawks coach:

(on playing with integrity in the wake of 'deflategate')

"The question of integrity. I think, it should only be understood that we wish to maintain the highest level of integrity. That doesn't mean that we always make the right choices and we always make the right choices and we do the right things, you know in all of our lives, we make mistakes and and we screw up. We misinterpret a situation and we don't handle it properly. The integrity is demonstrated by how you come out of that I think, not by the fact that you falter and you err. I think that it's how you respond to it and do you respond and stick to the right manner and stay on the right path, that's what we're faced with. We dwell so much on the issue that's I think really the crucial aspect of this is how do you respond. Do you face up to the truth? Do you get to it and to you work to do the right thing? And even then we make mistakes. We continue to falter, but that's not because we're not trying to act with the highest of standards. but I think the league is working really hard to do that and we have a tremendous responsibility - everyone is watching, everyone cares. We have a chance to help people learn how to right their own issues in the way we demonstrate. I think we're fortunate to have this responsibility and we're called on to do the best we possibly can do and I think the league is trying to do that."
