"That decision was taken mainly due to the fact that the pitches in Mongomo and Ebibeyin are young pitches that have gone through six games so far. In the case of Ebibeyin we have seen the change in the climate conditions since yesterday with that heavy rain that we had in Ebibeyin, and that makes us feel, OK, that stadium may not be up to the standards to host the quarter-final . We don't want to have a team or teams that feel like disadvantaged. We want all teams to be at the same level and compete in the same conditions to have the same chances to move forward."
