John Elway, Denver Broncos general manager:
(says he and Fox disagreed on how to reach the next step)
"I think the main thing between John and I was we disagreed how to get to the next level. And because we accomplished so much - four AFC West championships - but I think the biggest miss between us was how are we gonna take that next step and what it was gonna take to get to that next step."

John Elway, Denver Broncos general manager:
(told 38-year old quarterback Peyton Manning to take his time deciding his future)
"In his situation I told him I said don't even let's not even go into the future I said just know how much we want you back but the thing is for you to take the time and get away from this and so I told him you know four or five weeks I'm gonna stay in touch with him, but at four or five weeks we'll get back together see where he is."
