    SOUNDBITE: (Spanish) Luis Enrique:

"The Dani Alves contract issue is in the hands of Barcelona's board of directors and I am not going to make our private talks public. But you already know my opinion about Alves. He is a very important player who plays every weekend and I am delighted with his performances so far this season. All decisions will be announced to the players first but we are in no rush."

SOUNDBITE: (Spanish) Luis Enrique (about decision to ban Barça from acquiring new players until 2016):

"We are not surprised by Barcelona's appeal against a transfer ban being rejected. This issue had been in the spotlight for a long time. Evidently we would have wanted a different decision. But it is what it is and we accept it. We have enough players to achieve our goals. The decision will be a big motivation for players from our B team."
