SOUNDBITE: (English) John Carver, Newcastle United caretaker manager (on Burnley's performance):

"What I will see is that once they got the ball from back to front, their front players come alive and were outstanding and caused us all sorts of problems. And I'm actually sitting here so disappointed because we were so good the first half and so poor the second half that we actually (are) getting away with a point. I mean we didn't deserve that. I said to Sean (Dyche - Burnley manager) at the end of the game 'we didn't deserve that' and I think he must have thought I was saying that we should have won the game, but no. By no means. Burnley should have won the game and that's the one big positive I can take. The 45 minutes - sorry, I've got two positives - 45 minutes of the first half and the fact that we (haven't) lost the game."

SOUNDBITE: (English) John Carver, Newcastle United caretaker manager: (asked if he had enjoyed the match):

"Yes. It's difficult. It's.... it's difficult to say how you enjoy, you enjoy it in a strange way because obviously when you are leading games, it's a nice feeling and.... but as soon as you concede a goal you're working out for ways to get the next goal again. So it's very difficult to enjoy those 90 minutes. I've enjoyed everything else before that. I know what it's about, but.... the bit I don't enjoy is when I'm really disappointed inside and I'm disappointed at the moment."
