SOUNDBITE: (English) Sean Dyche, Burnley manager (Q: How impressed have you been with Ashley Barnes this season?)

"Yeah done really well. He's had to wait his time, in pre-season Jutz (Lukas Jutkiewicz) had scored plenty of goals and was performing well and I said to Barnsey 'you're in the thinking, sometimes you have to be patient' and he's taken his chance. When his chance has come he's gripped hold of it and delivered good performances as well as the goals return, because his all-round performances have been very good."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Sean Dyche, Burnley manager (Q: Is it pleasing that Danny Ings has said he wants to stay at the club until the end of the season?)

"It's a good sign. I always say we're learning, we're improving, we know it's tough for us in the Premier League but we're making a good fist of it at the moment and it's a good sign that people are interested in your players, that usually means there's life in what you're doing, life in the club and life in performances, because people are interested in your players. So it's a strange good one, but we know he's part of us and we want him to be that."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Sean Dyche, Burnley manager (Q: Has the uncertainty at Newcastle United affected your preparation for the game?)

"No, not at all. They're a very good group of players, we've played them once obviously a few weeks ago and they had a really good run. They've had a couple of indifferent games and then they've got a good win against Everton, so you know, players have a job to do, I don't think, well we won't be over-thinking that, they might do obviously. I don't know what's going on in their camp, but we'll be preparing for the game in the right manner because we know that they have a talented group there."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Sean Dyche, Burnley manager (Q: What have you made of the job that Alan Pardew has done at Newcastle United?)

"Overall, if we're imagining that he goes, obviously I haven't seen that there is anything other that still speculation and talks, whatever. Then I think he would be deemed to have done a very good job over the time he's been at Newcastle. Overall ups and downs like most managers have and most teams have, but overall a very good job."
