Spanish striker Fernando Torres trained with his new team-mates on Wednesday (31st December), after passing his medical prior to rejoining his boyhood idols Atletico Madrid in an 18-month loan move from AC Milan.

If ever there was doubt over the Atletico Madrid fan's views on Fernando Torres' move back to his old club; it was clear to see they are glad to have him back.
Large crowds gathered to greet the striker and watch his first training session back at los Colchoneros.

The 30-year-old will now be formally presented on the 4th of January at the Vicente Calderon.
Torres is then expected to make his Atletico debut, for the second time, against Real Madrid in their midweek Copa del Rey clash just two days later.
Atletico have said the 30-year-old, "returns to his home, where he trained as a player and became one of its biggest stars."
Torres played his first official game for Atletico in 2001, when he was 17.
He then made 244 apprearances and scored 91 goals for the club before moving to Liverpool in 2007.
