SOUNDBITE: (English) : Woody Johnson, New York Jets owner
"We've made some big changes this morning. Rex Ryan and John Idzik have been let go and I did that because I want to... we've had a disappointing year. We wanted to make some changes starting with those guys that help the team play more consistently, win more games, we're in the win business, as I said earlier, and we're not winning. So I thought this was something I had to do. I didn't get into football to do this. It's a necessary step for me to do this and I had to do it and I thought it was in the best interests of the team to do it."SOUNDBITE: (English) : Geno Smith, New York Jets quarterback
"Obviously we are sorrow about it because we truly love Rex (Ryan) and John Idzik and we believe that they worked their butt off for us. But we understand that this is a business and we've got to obviously move forward as players and continue to grow."SOUNDBITE: (English) : D'Brickashaw Ferguson, New York Jets left tackle
"Everybody had the same emotion, a feeling of sadness, a feeling of loss. But again, this is not a good time, players aren't necessarily happy at this time, because, again we didn't have the season we wanted."
