SOUNDBITE: (English) Garry Monk, Swansea City manager: (on whether the 2-0 win over QPR on 2 December bodes well for Swansea in the upcoming game)

"Yeah, but it'll be a different game down there, I think they're a different team at home than they are away, clearly shown with their results. A difficult game, a tight pitch, a tight stadium, but one that we're going to have to be ready for, one that we're going to have to react after the game last night (4-1 loss to Liverpool). But I think we've done that and shown that very well already this season, that we can react when we have a disappointment and it's important that we do that. That's what I'll be stressing to the players as well as give them the details for the game, that we have to go up there and put a performance on that we can really warrant some points and make us all proud again. So, it's what we'll be doing and what I'll be pushing the players for the next couple of days to do."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Garry Monk, Swansea City manager: (on criticisms from managers towards congested fixture schedule)

"There is the higher risk of injuries with, you know, the recuperation of players, especially at this level, the intensity and the physicality of the games is a lot in such a short space of time, so there is a slightly higher risk of injuries. But, I'm surprised that the top of the table are complaining with the squads that they have, they have much bigger squads than a lot of us. No, I think players are used to it, I think they understand that when you're playing in this country or in the UK that this is the period that you have and you have to get through it. That's why you have a squad and you try and utilise the squad and hopefully you can come through it with some good points, some good performances. But every team suffers the same, you know, ups and downs throughout this period."
