Genclerbirligi  earned a surprise 1-1 draw at home to Turkish Super League title chasers Galatasaray on Sunday.

Emre Colak seemed to have secured all three points for Gala until the 71st minute, when Bogdan Stancu rescued a point.

League leaders Besiktas overcame struggling Konyaspor two goals to one; Gokhan Tore firing in the opener.

Jose Sosa then scored a sensational half-volley; a contender for goal of the season.

Konyaspor substitute Gabriel Torje won a penalty after a foul by Serdar Kurtulus and Besiktas' Atiba Hutchinson was then shown his second yellow card for encroaching into the area.

Hasan Kabze scored from the spot but Slaven Bilic's ten men held on to increase their lead at the top of the table to two points.

Fenerbahce capitalised on Galatasaray's slip-up by defeating Mersin Idmanyurdu and leapfrogging Gala into second.

Mehmet Topal scored the only goal of the game even though Fener substitute Diego won and missed a late penalty.
