Swansea City boss Garry Monk pays tribute to Liverpool counterpart Brendan Rodgers before the two teams meet in the Premier League. Monk captained the Swans during Rodgers' highly successful two-year stint at the Liberty Stadium.

"He is a great guy (Brendan Rodgers), someone who I look up to, a fantastic manager and a person. He is someone that I speak to regularly and we have chats -- not just about football, but about everything you know -- and obviously someone to try and aspire to. Look at what his career has done, from where he was at Reading and Watford to when he come here and within a couple of years he was managing Liverpool. So, definitely an inspiration for someone like myself."

"We are really looking forward to it. I think Liverpool have had a difficult start to the season, but now I think that you see he has made changes Brendan and they are becoming a really good team again. Got a lot more confidence now and it will be a difficult game for us. But it is at Anfield, you know. It is a great place to play your football and we can go up there with real confidence and belief - especially that last game that we had, we didn't deserve to lose that game, some circumstances didn't help us. But knowing that we can go up there and perform like that and be so close to winning the game up there, that's what we have to take up there, that belief. I think the players have that -- I try and give that to them and where we are in the season, what we are doing right now we should have confidence and go into that game with a real belief that we can get something from it."
