Reaction after Burnley come from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Manchester City in the Premier League. George Boyd scored the Clarets' first goal despite appearing to be offside.

"I can explain. Of course I can explain. Football has a lot of things that can decide that score. We played well in the first half, we were 2-0 up but after that in the second minute of the second half Burnley score a clear offside goal. After that the rebound they scored the second one."

It was clear because I repeat the first goal was very important for them because they improved a lot and had a lot of trust in what they can do. "We went in at half-time intact in terms of how we were playing. I reminded the players of that at half-time and we put down a marker of getting the first goal and building on top of that. And I thought they did, not only with getting the goal so early but also the relentless nature of the performance after that. I thought the quality was high, I thought the endeavour was high, I though the organisation was high. So I was very, very pleased with everything."
