"Yeah very surprised yeah. I thought he did okay, yeah. I think I read somewhere in the paper at the start of the year they (Crystal Palace) were predicted 36 points - probably the same as QPR. I think that was the mark that was put down by the experts. They are probably on line for 36 points - or better. So Neil hadn't done a bad job. But it is up to the chairman, nothing to do with me. Every time I saw them, they played well, that is all I can say."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Keith Millen, Crystal Palace:

"Yeah, first and foremost we wanted a performance. You can't always guarantee the result, but you can guarantee the performance and I think it was really important that the lads showed a real togetherness and spirit because that is what we have been about for the last two years and it is not the first time this has happened to us, but you could see the response of the players. I was very proud of them. They worked their socks off for each other and we was under pressure at times and we had to defend for our lives, put our bodies there - and we did. If you are being a bit greedy... maybe on the counter-attack we could have nicked it. I think overall a draw was a fair result, but it was about the attitude of the players because it has been a shock, what has happened the last... even the previous game against Southampton we were disappointed with the performance, so it was important we bounced back from that performance and obviously Neil leaving."
