    Perth Glory extend their lead at the top of the A-League to seven points after a 1-1 draw with Melbourne City on Friday.

    Script:

    A-League leaders Perth Glory were on a three-match winning run when they travelled to the AAMI Park to face Melbourne City on Friday.
    After a goalless first half, Melbourne who were looking for a third win in a row seized the initiative - Aaron Mooy scoring past goalkeeper Danny Vukovic in the 48th minute- 1-0 to the hosts.
    Perth then began to dominate.
    Just after the hour mark, they equalised through Richard Garcia who glanced in a header following a free kick to make it 1-1.
    The visitors could've taken the lead six minutes later - Dino Djulbic volley saved by goalkeeper Tando Velaphi.
    Melbourne were also dangerous at the other end.
    Mooy forcing an excellent save from Vukovic in the 73rd minute.
    It finished 1-1 and Perth Glory will be action again in Melbourne next time, facing Melbourne Victory.
