Intro:
Reaction after Liverpool win 1-0 at Burnley in the English Premier League on Friday (December 26).

"No, not at all. No. I thought that in terms of our character and resilience in the game we showed outstanding qualities when needed. It was difficult in terms of the fluidity in the game. They pressed really hard and made it difficult for us, particularly in the first half. I felt that we were better second half. There weren't many chances in the game at all, but the one clear one that came to us we put it away. So we deserved the three points for, as I said, the character as I stated."
"You know we know the challenge. It's not just to be excellent. It's to win. We've done it and we need to do it more. I thought we were very good, in fact we were better today, than we were against Southampton and we got a win - we didn't today. I thought we were very good down at Tottenham last week. So the mentality is there. The growth in the group that I have spoken about is quite obvious and when you see it today against still a fine group of players - I know they have had their question marks - but it is Liverpool Football Club and they've got some fantastic players. So to see the group playing as they did today is very pleasing."
