SOUNDBITE (English) Garry Monk, Swansea manager (on new signing Nelson Oliveira):
"Good, happy to have completed it. Obviously, I said before, I spoke about that position striker (with Wilfried) Bony going away to the African (Cup of) Nations that we need to get (one). Obviously got Bafetimbi Gomis now already with us. It was important to get another cover in case anything happened or another player to push along with Bafetimbi here during the period. And that's why I brought Nelson (Oliveira) in, who is a good player. Watched him a lot, especially since the start of the season. His name came up in the summer and obviously looked at him throughout that period as we always do and thankful and happy to have signed him."

SOUNDBITE (English) Garry Monk, Swansea manager (on opponents Aston Villa):
"You look at their last performance against Aston Villa, I think they deserved to win the game. I thought they played very, very well. They've got a good squad, they've got good players and they'll be dangerous, they'll be very dangerous. Come here on Boxing Day and it's one we're going to have to be wary of. We're at home, and I think if we give the type of performance that we've been giving at home in pretty much all our games, we can be confident going into the game that we can be on the front foot and try and impose ourselves on Aston Villa. There will be periods throughout that game where they will test us and we're going to have to be ready for that. I think confidence wise we should go into that game firing on all cylinders."
