Sean Dyche, Burnley manager (on Brendan Rodgers):
"It's a tough one. You know yourself from even what you do writing about it. How do you define the real complexities of management. You can almost..people could have said last year..you would never do this but you could say 'listen, lets lose a few and ease off a little bit and then next year we will go again because the story looks better.' You know, it is a strange task. You take the team so far and so quickly last year. They had a decent run at it and had been growing anyway but last year to get right the way that close and then to lose two key players for different reasons - very difficult. Even with the numbers spoken about, the amount spent. I said recently that the super elite players now and they are not 20-30 million (pounds) and 100,00 pounds a week wages or whatever. They are beyond that now. They are 60-70-8-90 million and 250,000 pounds a week wages. Are Liverpool ready for that? I don't know. Do they want to do that? I don't know. One thing I know is they are still a very talented team, that is what it looks like to me and so we will certainly not be taking Liverpool football club lightly I can assure you."
