SOUNDBITE (English) Owen Coyle, Houston Dynamo coach:

"First and foremost, I'm very honoured and very privileged to be here as a new head coach. I've got to say, watching that montage there certainly, although I already know, it's great to see the history of the club. What's important now is we make history moving forward. I think as you know, the Dynamo have always had a terrific name in MLS and what we want to do is to continue that and put an infrastructure in place that will will serve the club well for years to come and will have longevity. And as the new head coach, I'm, as I said, very honoured to be here."

SOUNDBITE (English) Owen Coyle, Houston Dynamo coach:

"I've brought my teams to the US the last 6-7 seasons in the pre-season, so I've always been fully aware of the MLS and how it was growing. And having worked at the level I've worked - particularly in England and Scotland and what have you, but for me this is a league that continues to grow than any other in modern football. And I've got no doubts that in a few years to come it's going to be one of the top leagues globally. And I felt that I wanted to be a part of that. I wanted to have a real challenge to be successful. Having been successful with the clubs that I've been at. And again I felt it was an opportunity to do that here. And the core of that is because there's good people at the club. I think there's people with the same agenda. And when you're all singing from the same hymn sheet, you've got very good chances for success. We certainly recognize that we're not the biggest club in MLS, but what we can be is the very best at what we do. And when you have that in the sport that we're involved in, soccer, that can bring success. You can punch above your weight as the Dynamo have done before and we can do that again."
