There were six different players on the scoresheet as Tomas Schaaf and Eintracht Frankfurt thrashed his former club Werder Bremen 5-2 in the Bundesliga on Sunday.
It took the hosts over half an hour to break the deadlock - Alexander Meier smashing the ball high into the net after it had rebounded off the post following a corner.
Theodor Gebre Selassie equalised for Werder Bremen on the stroke of half-time and the sides went in level at the interval.
The home side took the lead seven minutes into the second half in controversial fashion.
Haris Seferovic collided with Bremen goalkeeper Raphael Wolf but was free to knock the ball into the net with his knee after the referee failed to signal for a foul.
Meier again had the woodwork to thank for his second goal, sending Frankfurt 3-1 up from close range in the 68th minute.
The striker is now the top scorer in the Bundesliga with 10 goals.
Stefan Aigner widened the gap eight minutes later with a cool finish through the legs of a hapless Wolf.
Bremen were given a lifeline shortly afterwards through Luca Caldirola's close range volley, only for Frankfurt to seal the win just seconds later with the goal of the evening.
Marc Stendera hitting a half-volley from the edge of the area.
Werder Bremen remain second from bottom in the table on 13 points, while Eintracht Frankfurt move into seventh.
