SOUNDBITE: (English) Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool manager:

"What I've seen in the players and the character they shown to bounce back, because after Crystal Palace it was a real difficult moment. We were.... the run of games up until that in terms of results and performances, we just weren't quite there really. But the reaction and the mentality the players have shown since that, says a lot about their character and their determination to do well, so for us, as I say, we're not getting carried away. We've had three good performances, three decent results against teams that are difficult to beat and now we just have to keep taking that confidence forward now in the next game."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool manager:

"We've got a little bit of momentum now, in terms of results. That breeds the confidence in the team and you just, as I said, it releases that, what maybe can feel like a little bit of pressure, but for me the players deserve great credit. They've responded magnificently well over the last three games and, like you say, we're now at Anfield, we play at home, we're going to have to be patient at the weekend against a team that's had a lot of draws and defend resolutely. So, for us, it's another opportunity for us, playing at home."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool manager:

(talking about missing the goals of the injured Daniel Sturridge)

"The contribution is from everyone. We're very focused on the team and every player. Especially if you're an attacking player, you're job is very simple. You've got to create goals, you've got to score goals and then you've got to press the ball at the right times. And that's important for you, as a front player. But I always ask the team. The team has to contribute and that'll be defenders, fullbacks, right the way through. But it's nice to see.... we're starting.... the goals are starting to pick up now and we are a wee bit more resolute in our defending which is critical for us."
