SOUNDBITE: (English) Alan Irvine, West Bromich Albion head coach (Q: after four straight losses, are you feeling under pressure?):

"We all know what it's like. We all know that if you lose three or four games in a row then people will be calling for your head. If you win three or four games in a row, they'll be thinking you're great, and I've already experienced both of those things this season. And that's the nature of the job. Unfortunately it's very difficult for it to be nice and stable and for things to just tick along quite nicely where you're in that position where you can get on with the job fully. It's just one of those situations. I'm fine. The chairman was perfectly calm. We just need a result.

"Well of course it's important, but it's important regardless of who we are playing. We need to get points. Everybody knows that if you can get to the 40 point mark at some point during the season, you can start to think about what you're going to do next depending on the number of games that you've got left. And we're a long way short of the points that we need so regardless of who we're playing at the moment, we need points. But of course, when it's teams that are round about you at this particular time, then getting those points can actually help you in both ways. It can create a gap between you and the opposition."
