SOUNDBITE: Gus Poyet, Sunderland manager (on whether Sunderland can play as well as they did against Chelsea on Saturday)
"Well that's the only thing, I cannot complain in terms of not having a full week against Manchester City because there are plenty of similarities. I'm not saying it's the same game, I think there are some things Manchester City does totally differently to Chelsea, different players, different ability, but at the same time they have very important offensive players and they like to keep the ball, which of course is something we are going to have to accept. Learning from the game against Chelsea, what we can do better, how we can hurt the opposition - if we can do so earlier in the game, not waiting so long - it's another opportunity for us to improve, because we want to improve all the time."
SOUNDBITE: Gus Poyet, Sunderland manager (on how hard it is going to be to stop Manchester City's Sergio Aguero, following his hat-trick against Bayern Munich in Champions League last week)
"it's going to be very tough, I watched him at the weekend as well, he didn't score (against Southampton), but he was influential, he was the most dangerous player. I think he was even voted man of the match, which just shows he is in great form. But you need a team, you need a whole team, it's not only the centre-half, it's not only to him to say 'okay, all the best'. Against him it's about how we stop the opposition from getting into dangerous areas and passing the ball to him, finding him easily. Plenty of work, but you cannot care only about him because at the end of the day they have quality everywhere. It's one of the main points and we know that at this moment in time he is one of the top tops in the world, especially being in form, so we'll have to deal with that. But that's nice, that's why we fought so hard last season - to be here, and be able to play against them."
