"We are against any kind of violence, and we want to head a 100% free of violence movement, verbal or physical. The first measure will be to close, temporarily and symbolically, the lower stand of our stadium (where Ultras are) for the next two games."

SOUNDBITE: Tino Fernandez, Deportivo La Coruna president

"To this measure, we want to add another one, one in which we ask our fans to turn Riazor next Saturday into a colossal demonstration of what we have always wanted to transmit and project as football fans and lovers of the sport. A social and sporting spirit that is an example, and should never be stained by the actions of a few violent people, who we are trying to keep away from our stadiums and events. "

"We also demand authorities not to rest until they have arrested everybody responsible for the murder that occurred on Sunday in Madrid. These days are very complicated days for a Coruna family, who have lost a loved one, a family we want to support from our club."
