Under fire for their style of play, Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc had this to say to his critics.

    SOUNDBITE: Laurent Blanc, PSG coach

"Some people say that our game is worse than the last year but they are not talking of the goal of a team or club which is the three points and victory and this is secondary to them."

PSG are unbeaten in 21 games and trail league leaders Marseille by a single point.

Despite that, fans aren't impressed because the side has struggled to break down teams in the French league, even with a line up that includes Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Edinson Cavani, Lucas and Javier Pastore.

SOUNDBITE: Paris Saint-Germain left back Lucas Digne

"Given that we are one of the two unbeaten teams in Europe, we are relatively impervious to criticism. Maybe last year we played a bit better but we are still winning."

But that's mainly down to late winners from their stars, rather than dominating matches.

The Parisian side face a tough test against Lille on Wednesday.

Blanc isn't making any promises about a change in style.

    SOUNDBITE: Laurent Blanc, PSG coach

"We are aware that we require good performances and good results. We have a large squad but we have a number of injuries."

It just goes to show, an injury free squad is still something money can't buy.
