  • Intro:

Partizan Belgrade coach Marko Nikolic was hit by a firecracker and sent off during his sides 1-1 draw at Novi Pazar on Saturday (29th November).

    Script:

A hot atmosphere, but a cold reception for Partizan Belgrade coach Marko Nikolic when his side visited Novi Pazar on Saturday.

Away fans were banned due to fears of crowd trouble, but the home fans still caused problems.

With flares going off in the stands, one was thrown at Nikolic on the sideline during the first half.

    It exploded upon impact.

He was unhurt, but his sweater was charred.

To add to the drama, the Partizan coach was sent-off in the second half for protesting a disallowed goal.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Nikolic later blamed the referee for the ugly atmosphere and failing to keep the game under control.
