Fourth played host to third in the Swiss Super League on Sunday as Young Boys welcomed St Gallen, and it was the visitors that struck the first blow.

Marco Aratore picking up the ball on the edge of the box and producing a wonderful curling effort from distance to gift his side a 1-0 lead in the 8th minute.

It didn't take long for the home side to find an equaliser, Guillaume Hoarau towering over the St Gallen defense on the near post to connect with the corner and slot it home.

The visitors pulled back ahead in the 38th minute - and while Marco Aratore's goal was spectacular, this was even better.

Young Boys pulled level before half-time, yet again the St Gallen defense unable to deal with a corner, Renato Steffen rising highest on the far post to head in.

The balance in the match was finally broken in the 48th minute when Stephane Besle was shown a second yellow card for his foul on Rapha Nuzzolo.

Young Boys going 3-2 up on 10 man St Gallen when Hoarau converted the resulting spot-kick.

The Frenchman turned provider for the home side's fourth and final goal, his cross eventually fell to Steffen who got his second of the game.

4-2 the final score, Young Boys stay third, while St Gallen drop to fifth in the table.
