SOUNDBITE (English) Mauricio Pochettino, Tottenham manager:
"Yes, very pleased. I'm very happy because today was an important game for us. The result is important to get the three points and after the performance was very good and happy. Very pleased with the team, our players and say thank you to our supporters because today wasn't easy. From the beginning, their first shot they score, we concede a goal and after we turn the result in the first half and I think it was important that our supporters help the team."
SOUNDBITE (English) Roberto Martinez, Everton manager:
"Luck plays a big part on results and I did feel that today we didn't get any sort of break in that respect. The second half, it would have been all too easy to see the home team dictating the play and taking the game away from us, but it wasn't the case. I thought we found a way to open the game and be up against them and we created a few half-opportunities that they end up with a big, big penalty decision that it didn't go our way in the last minute. Where (Fabrizio) Fazio makes himself really big, closes his eyes and the ball hits him in the arm in a very unnatural position and it should have been a penalty. If it hits you in the chest, you done great, if not, it's a penalty. Again, that's a decision that didn't go in our favour in a game that I felt probably a draw would have been the best result for two teams fully committed."
