SOUNDBITE Alan Irvine, West Brom manager

"Two weeks in a row now, two big decisions that have been wrong against us and look people make mistakes, but I could do without them umm you know because it doesn't help make the job against teams like Chelsea and Arsenal an awful lot more difficult and everybody knows how crucial the first goal is. Saido found himself in a very similar position to the one where he scored against Manchester United and you fancy him when gets into that position. It was bitterly disappointing."

SOUNDBITE Alan Irvine, West Brom manager (On whether it hurts when fans chant he doesn't know what he's doing.)

"It's not nice to hear it obviously, people have, you know they have their own opinions, but in actual fact it very nearly worked in that we really looked as if we might score when perhaps we hadn't looked as if we might score too many times prior to the changes that were made so umm it very nearly worked and had it done then perhaps people would've... would've had a different judgement at the end of it."

SOUNDBITE Alan Irvine, West Brom manager

"That, well that just seems ridiculous to me I have to say and you know I got asked downstairs as well about Arsene and it's bizarre that I should be getting asked to defend Arsene Wenger for what he's done. You know he's had an incredible time at Arsenal."
