Thailand through with late winner

  • Intro:

Thailand progress to the semi-finals of the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup with a 3-2 thriller against Malaysia in Group B.

    Script:

Thunderstorms meant kick off was delayed by two and a half hours in Singapore. But the action was worth the wait once Thailand and Malaysia came out for this Suzuki Cup Group B match,

Thailand knew they would qualify with a win but Amri Yahyah put Malaysia one up in the 28th minute.

The Group leaders responded though with two minutes left of the half, Charyl Chappuis found Adisak Kraisorn who levelled. Some impact from the subsitute, who had only been on the field for two minutes.

There was still time before the break for an incredible moment for Malaysia's Yahyah.... Almost and Kawin Thammasatchanan was releived with that.

Malaysia were in front again though just after the hour mark, Safiq Rahim with the goal.

The Thais dug deep though and hit back through Chappuis.

And then in the 90th minute, Adisak hammered in the winner. Thailand go through but Malaysia now have to beat hosts Singapore to join them in the semi-finals.
