The Kerala Blasters scored their first goal for three games as they beat the Delhi Dynamos 1-0 away in the Indian Super League on Sunday (16th November).

For the second time in a week, The Delhi Dynamos and Kerala Blasters faced off in the Indian Super League.

The hosts had the better of the chances in the first half.

A corner from Italian stalwart Alessandro del Piero almost led to header which would've put Dynamos ahead on the 5th minute, but English goalkeeper David James did well to push it out.

Del Piero's almost put his side ahead in the 39th minute when he met a cross from Mads Junker.

His header was unfortunately blocked by team-mate Adil Khan however before it was cleared off the line.

Despite the early pressure, Blasters who broke the deadlock on the hour mark.

Canadian striker Iain Hume pounced on a loose ball, beat a player before crossing the low into substitute Penn Ikechukwu Orji.

He struck a low shot past the goalkeeper to score the Blasters first goal in more than 250 minutes of football.

They almost threw away their advantage late on though.

Substitute Gustavo dos Santos captialised on some poor defending.

But his shot couldn't beat a stretched James in goal.

The final score 1-0.
