  • Intro:

Reaction from Stuart Lancaster after New Zealand defeated England 24-21 at Twickenham on Saturday (8 November).

    Script:

SOUNDBITE (English) Stuart Lancaster, England head coach:

"From our point of view we're disappointed to have lost having put ourselves in a position at half time where obviously we were up but credit to them they managed that third quarter really well and that's probably the area of the game we need to review and improve upon for next time."

SOUNDBITE (English) Stuart Lancaster, England head coach:

"We've played them four times now (New Zealand in 2014) and we've not got the right result but I don't think we're far away and we know that with another 12 months inside us, as we get towards the World Cup, we've got some pretty good players sat on the sideline watching that game today, we'll keep our confidence and keep the direction in which we're going."
