Alan Pardew reacts to his Newcastle side's win over Liverpool. Pardew says he never lost faith, yet couldn't have imagined the club would go on the run they have.

"I see a quote about Bobby (Robson) and I've read a couple of books about Bobby and he some dark days here don't worry about that. When you're Newcastle manager it ain't all Gin and Tonic and aperitifs everywhere. It's going to be some rough days. The one thing I always knew though is that we had good spirit and we had good talent and it just needed to be strong. I'm not saying I could see the wins coming like they have if I'm honest, but I knew there was talent in that dressing room and we've got to give it time. Our fans are brilliant in that when the highs come it's brilliant. It'll be fantastic in the town tonight, I might even go in myself for the first time for awhile."
