    SOUNDBITE: Roberto Martinez, Everton manager

"We pick the right moments. I thought the quality in front of goal was, was really, really good and even the second goal, I think the composure of keeping the ball and waiting for the right moment, I thought that was.... a real good sign when you see a team that has been travelling to France and come back on just Thursday night, I thought the performance was perfect to set our season up now."

SOUNDBITE: Roberto Martinez, Everton manager (on Samuel Eto'o, who scored his side's first and third goals)

"To have that clinical aspect about his play, as a striker it's not about the goals you score, it's how many chances you need to score and the first chance, he showed that the mentality is to be ready. I thought he set standards in that respect. But then as a manager I was more pleased with his overall contribution. I thought his link-up play was exceptional, I thought his defensive work was very disciplined and for someone at that experienced part of his career, to be able to play two (games of) 90 minutes on Thursday and today, I think it shows you the way he looks after himself."
