    Ajax secured their first win in five games with a 3-1 victory at home to Go Ahead Eagles in the Dutch Eredivisie on Saturday (25th October).

    Script:

    After two games without a win in the Eredivisie, Ajax were looking for a win over Go Ahead Eagles to remain in touch with PSV.

    And it wasn't long before the Champions were on top. Anwar El Ghazi following up Polish striker Arkadiusz Milik shot.

    After looking down and out for the first 25 minutes of the game, Go Ahead Eagles finally brought themselves back into contention.

    Go Ahead Eagles came into the game in the 25th minute, and how. Deniz Turuc had Jasper Cillessen completely beaten.

    Less than three minutes later, an excellent through ball from Sander Duits gave Fernando Lewis the chance to equalise.

    Into the second half and confidence was restored in the Ajax camp as Milik found the target, from Ricardo van Rhijn.

    Ajax kept pressing and some high defensive worked paid off as Lasse Schone made sure of the points.

    The 3-1 win gave Ajax their first victory in five matches across all competitions.

    They remain second in the Eredivisie table, one point behind PSV Eindhoven who play on Sunday.
