SOUNDBITE: (English) Arsene Wenger (Q: Sunderland suffered a difficult defeat last week. What do you make of their season overall?)

"Look, they are a team who is relatively consistent and who had a great finish last year. When you go to Sunderland, you know always that you expect commitment and fight for 90 minutes and we have to prepare ourselves for that. The result of last week will certainly have dropped their confidence and increased their resolve to defend well. So it's on our side to focus just on our performance."

"We want to achieve that and I think until now, we have been relatively consistent in our attitude and in our performances but not efficient enough. Not defensively or offensively and that's why if you look well since the start of the season, we have lost only two games against (Borussia) Dortmund and at Chelsea but we didn't make enough points with our performances."
