Burnley boss Sean Dyche backs his team to keep fighting for their first English Premier League win of the season as they get ready to take on Everton.

"It's learning as we go and there has been some tough lessons to learn already and there will be, it's part of the nature of being in the Premier League. But it is on the other hand a group that we think are honest enough to keep learning and keep supplying that endeavour to not be too broken by it. You just get dented and you take the knocks and come off the ropes and get ready to take it again. Hopefully we are looking to use that mentality wisely and over a season of course - because it's not just a sprint, it's a marathon - over the season it is important the team keeps developing and learns how to win and that's what our next step is. We've got to win a game of course."

SOUNDBITE: (English), Michael Duff, Burnley defender:

"We are still upbeat. There has been a lot made of the fact that we haven't won but we have not been that far away other than the West Brom game where we weren't good enough and we got a slap in the face really. But it is fine margins and the gaffer doesn't let outside influences affect the lads. It happened last year when people kept writing us off saying we wouldn't get promoted and we just kept that noise out and believed in ourselves. Nothing has changed to this year - it is just a different kind of noise."

"They've had an indifferent start by their standards last year but I think we all know they've got some real good quality players and a very good manager and a very good club. So another great challenge for us - that's what we wanted. I remind everyone - that's exactly what we wanted - we wanted last year, the players want it, the town want it. Didn't say it was going to be easy but we do want that challenge."
