  • Intro:

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman says he's wary of Stoke City's physicality, at a news conference ahead of their Premier League fixture on Satuday (25th October)

SOUNDBITE (English) Ronald Koeman, Southampton manager:

"I think it's a difficult team to beat because they bring a lot of physical qualities - strong in defence. I think it's one of the teams (who are) very dangerous from set pieces. Everybody knows (Peter) Crouch. They play long balls - second balls. You have to be... You need a lot of attention. But we play at home and we have to do our game and we like to play our own way and that gives the players a lot of confidence. But we have to realise that it's a new game."

SOUNDBITE (English) Ronald Koeman, Southampton manager:

"I think it's the biggest one to play. Because it is not only the sports - there is a little bit of politics way about Madrid and Catalunya. It's nice because if you are player of one or both you can make your public so happy to win against your big rival - that's great to play and we play at three o'clock and they start at five. Maybe we can watch the second half."
