SOUNDBITE (English) Louis van Gaal, Manchester United manager:
(Question: Do you view that as a point gained in the end?)

"Two points lost. I think we were the better team and I'm very disappointed about the result. You can say we were two times behind but I don't think that West Bromwich Albion has created many chances - I think zero. And we gave the two goals away. We have created four chances in the first half and seven (in the second half), and we scored two goals in the second half in seven chances. I think we dominate the game... and that is what I want as a coach, as a manager, but a manager doesn't want a result like two-two. That I have said (to) my players, I cannot be happy... I am happy about our play style but not happy about the result."

SOUNDBITE (English) Alan Irvine, West Bromwich Albion Head Coach:

"Yeah, massively disappointed at the end to be honest. You know, the players are really, really disappointed at this moment... having put in such a good performance for most of the game really. So, you know, a lot of positives obviously to take from the game, but still that disappointment that we came so close and didn't manage to see the game out."
