Myanmar upset Thailand 3-0 in their Group A match of the AFC U-19 Championships on Saturday (11 October).

Myanmar took on rivals Thailand at the AFC U-19 Championships with the hosts looking for their first win in the tournament.

Myanmar were held to a goalless draw by Yemen, While Thailand shocked Iran in their opener,

Yet it was Myanmar who shocked their neighbours early on.

Midfielder Nyein Chan Aung stricking in the eight minute after dispossessing the Thai defence.

Five minutes later Aung was at it again and scoring from much the same angle as the first.

The Thai goalkeeper will perhaps of been disappointed with the first two goals. However, he will surely hang his head in shame with the third.

Aung Thu's of Myanmar was the man with the wonderfully eschewed shot. The game finished 3-0 with Myanmar moving top of Group A alongside Yemen much to the delight of their supporters.
