SOUNDBITE: (English) Stephen J. Bisciotti, Baltimore Ravens owner (on ESPN article)

"Oh, I think it's getting out. I think what's obvious is that the majority of the sources are people that work for Ray. Almost everything in there is anonymous, but it's clear from the subject matter that it's Rays attorney. It's Ray's agent, and it's Ray's friends. And they are building a case for reinstatement. And the best way to build a case for reinstatement is to make everybody else look like they're lying. So their accusations didn't jive with what we knew was fact."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Stephen J. Bisciotti, Baltimore Ravens owner: (on accusation in article that he influenced NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to go easy on Ray Rice's punishment)

"I expected four or six games, and I was as surprised as everybody else that it was two. For that article to make it sound like we're (he and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell) best buddies because we both like to golf, and so clearly I must have asked him to do me a favour, in front of the whole world to see, like you would think that if I could get a favour out of Roger it certainly isn't going to be something that's publicised nationally. So it was a standard two game, and I was prepared for for four or six games."
