Coach Luis Enrique Martinez says they'll be looking to maintain their winning start to the season.

"(about Wednesday's game against Malaga) This game has an added element of difficulty both for the rival and the stadium. And because in this sport difficulties can appear all of a sudden. Like we did against Levante, our goal is to generate complications to our rival. By being a better team we have more winning chances."

Luis Suarez will be making an appearance, however it'll be for the B-side in a friendly against Indonesia under-19s.

"(about Luis Suarez) The player has said he wants to play so he can achieve a more competitive rhythm even though in a different context. So he will play tomorrow."

They'll look to Lionel Messi again for inspiration.

Despite missing a penalty against Levante, he's been instrumental in 9 of Barca's 12 goals across all competitions.

Martinez says it's their defence that needs to improve if they want to take all three points against Malaga.

The side won its season-opener against Athletic Bilbao but has stumbled since.
