SOUNDBITE: (English) Everton coach Roberto Martinez (about striker Samuel Eto'o):

"When he came on against Chelsea, straightaway scoring. It was an incredible introduction and he's been so influential in the day-to-day in training, with the players. It was disappointing when he missed the game against West Brom so it was great to see him back. He's been desperate to be fully fit and last night he gave me the impression that he is ready from a physical point of view and that's going to be a major, major boost for the squad because he is a very influential player already, just playing two substitute appearances you don't believe the influence that he has in the squad already and I can't wait to see him having a longer playing time with the team."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Everton coach Roberto Martinez:

"We're still growing as a group and some of our partnerships are becoming stronger and stronger, but there are many things we need to do better, many aspects we can still improve and yesterday (in a 4-1 win against Wolfsburg in the Europa League) we were heavily tested and I think the score the scoreline reflected that we were brutal in front of goal. I thought that we were so clinical."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Everton coach Roberto Martinez (about facing Crystal Palace):

"Today the focus goes to Crystal Palace and making sure that everyone is fully recovered and ready to face a very, very tough challenge because last season is a game that we struggled and that we lost the three points so, obviously, we didn't manage to get any points out of it and we know that this Crystal Palace side have got a really good continuity from what they did in the last campaign so we are well aware of what we are going to be facing on Sunday."
